Long Pepper

Long pepper also know as Java Long Pepper or Piper longum or Thippali in India, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. Long pepper has a taste hotter similar. The fruit of the pepper consists of many minuscule fruits each about the size of a poppy seed embedded in the surface of a flower spike that closely resembles a hazel tree catkin. The fruits contain the alkaloid piperine.

Benefits usage of long pepper are to improve appetite and digestion, as well as treat stomachache, heartburn, indigestion, intestinal gas, diarrhea, and cholera. It is also used for lung problems including asthma, bronchitis, cough, include treatment of headache, toothache, vitamin B1 deficiency, coma, epilepsy, fever, stroke, trouble sleeping (insomnia), leprosy, extreme tiredness, enlarged spleen, muscle pain, nasal discharge, paralysis, psoriasis, intestinal worms, snakebites, tetanus, thirst, tuberculosis, tumors.  to treat other problems of sexual origin including infertility, cramps and loss of libido and many more.
