Kapok yarn is natural origin obtained from the inedible fruit of the Ceiba Pentandra tree, it is typically used as filling for pillows, Bedding and now day using for yarn kapok for textile industry. Kapok has been used as a filling material or for nonwovens originally. Kapok fiber in terms of spinning it to yarn is relatively new as for a long time, Kapok was thought to be non-spinnable due to its slight wax-like coating. Now day where the first commercial spinning trials succeeded for kapok yarn.

Benefits using of kapok yarn are Warmth Retaining is Kapok is naturally warm fiber. When it is produced to garments that use in daily life, that can retain warm. Warmth retaining of kapok fabric is better than cotton fabric. Non-toxic and Chemical-free.
